Biography

Thierry Guillemin was born in October of 1959. He studied science and worked as an aerospace engineer in the southwest of France until October 1999, at which time he moved to the US where he became over the years an executive in the satellite industry. Thierry has always been passionate about art and he has been painting for many years. He joined Studio Gallery in Washington, DC in 2005 and he is also represented by Adah Rose Gallery in Kensington, MD since 2011. He showed his work in solo and group shows in Washington, DC, Montréal, New York and at the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy.

Biographie

Thierry Guillemin est né en octobre 1959. Il a fait des études scientifiques et travaillé dans l’industrie spatiale dans le Sud-Ouest de la France avant de s'installer aux Etats-Unis en 1999 ou sa carriere dans l'industrie des services par satellites s'est developpee. Il a depuis toujours la passion de l'art et peint depuis de nombreuses années. Il est represente depuis 2005 par Studio Gallery sur R street à Washington, DC et egalement depuis 2011 par Adah Rose Gallery a Kensington, Maryland. Il a exposé seul ou en groupe à Washington, DC, à Montréal, New York, et à la Biennale Internationale d'Art Contemporain à Florence.
